Meet Lisa Cotton
Welcome to Lisa Cotton's National Community Advocacy.
Lisa is the founder of a domestic violence and family crisis support service. Lisa has always aspired to make a meaningful impact in the community whether in her work as a previous parliament staffer, community consultant, chaplaincy support or for human rights in the non-profit sector with a passion in the area of child protection.
Lisa also sings jazz and has been a musician and performer for several decades passionate about the arts and how music powerfully unites community.
Having forged her resilience through personal challenges, including overcoming domestic abuse and persecution as a whistleblower, Lisa is deeply committed to empowering others.
These experiences fuel her desire to campaign for issues that are important to every day Australians to represent the voice of the community in parliament whether on state, federal or local issues.
